Congratulations on your one point, was it to your satisfaction, or could you have taken all three?

I read a discussion thread on the local newspaper's web pages that someone had heard from "reliable sources" that Glimt were going to sign a foreign striker at the end of the season. If this has anything to it, along with the news that he was scouted by Glimt, I suppose it adds to the likelihood of him joining us. If you're not up to speed on the other threads on this forum, I can tell you that after dispatching our top goal scorer to a promotion rival, we signed striker Olav Tuelo Johannesen on loan from top league side Sandefjord. Should it come to that he returns to Sandefjord at the end of the season, we will be in great need of--probably--two quality forwards. I suspect Glimt will be acquiring players if the economic issues are settled. From what we've heard of Gudjon, for our sake we can hope that he will join us.
Når du forventer det verste. Venter på at det skal skje. Og så skjer det.

Glimtfølelsen.

If that is true it is indeed exciting news. But I want it confirmed by the management of Glimt before I belive it.

Sounds like bad news for us. I doubt that Glimt can afford him if there are many other clubs interested.

Now that we have an english forum I´m moving this thread here to make it easier available for our future foreign visitors.

We can probably forget all about Gudjon now, I'm afraid... :(

http://fotball.aftenposten.no/forstediv ... e74405.ece

It says in this article that one of our rivals in the league, Sogndal, is trialing Valur Gislason and "our" Gudjon in a training match against Stryn wednesday... Typically enough since Sogndal have long traditions with young talents, I fear that they will see the talent Glimt never saw... I just can't understand why we didn't bring him back on a trial this year.
