It may also be worth mentioning that Fredrikstad won the Norwegian Cup today, after beating Sandefjord 3-0 in the final at Ullevål today.

Two former Glimt players played for each of the teams, Christian Berg for Fredrikstad and Fredrik Kjølner for Sandefjord.

Når du forventer det verste. Venter på at det skal skje. Og så skjer det.

Glimtfølelsen.

240 league games, and a part of the team that won the FA cup final against Liverpool in 1988. He defenitely made a big impact at Wimbledon.

Same with Beasant, the first keeper to save a penalty in a FA cup final in 1988.

Sanchez scored both the goal that got Wimbledon promoted in 86, and the goal that won them the final in 88.

Vinny Jones was a mediocre player that got a lot of press because of his reputation as a hard man. I'm not saying that he wasn't important for them, because he was, but they had better players than him, although he got all the press. I enjoy watching him in movies more than I did watching him on the field.

If you ask someone who they think of, when you say Wimbledon, they would answer Vinnie Jones. That's my point.
