Which is pretty amazing, considering that Glimt hasn't beat Rosenborg in an official game in 29 or 31 (depending on the source) years! :)

It's been 31 years since we beat them away and 29 years since we beat them at home. But we haven't been in the same division for about half of that time.

Today, Glimt's left wing, Trond Olsen hopefully will make his debut on our national team in a friendly match against Ukraine.

He's going to score one goal and have one assist :) The oracle has spoken ;)

Our midfielder veteran Runar berg have decided to play in the 2009 season for free

A correction, though. The translated article states that Runar Berg earns 600.000 dollars, But thats wrong. It's 600.000 NOK

Our director almost fell out of his chair:

Glimt Director Bjørn Tore Hansen was speechless when Runar Berg came into the office and told that he would play for free in 2009

Nobody knows. On the internet there is no information about our team. We got one news last day that we signed only one player in this transfer window. Else there has been quiet, so for us thats live to far away, to see the pre-season games, dont know anything besides that we haven't scored goals in our pre-season.

The season will be kicked-off 5. april, agains FC Lyn Oslo. Maybe we will get updated on that game :)

We won the Adeccoliga and gonna play in Tippeligaen next year. In 1,5 year we're out in Europe to play CL and if we are unlucky the next season maybe only EL.

Our rivals farther north - Tromsø IL - was relegated to Adeccoligaen, and now we are the best team in the World on the "right" side of the Polar Cirkle.

We are best in the circumpolar World! :)

Soo.. 1,5 half year later - My masterplan didnt worked out. So we're here in the bottom of Tippeligaen for the second consecutive year. But we're still better then Tromsø IL and still the best team in the circumpolar World.. I Guess :)

The big story in Norway after our 1-0 victory over Tromsø,was that Tromsø coach Steinar Nilsen was sucking on his thumb to comfort himself after the defeat. It lasted the entire planetrip from Bodø-Tromsø.
