News aren't plentiful nowadays, but glimt.no has a small update. I'll translate:
Ad Mitch: the name of the team is actually the name of the town, Hønefoss. I'm not sure about the story behind it, but my translation would rather be "Hen Falls" or perhaps "Chicken Falls"
glimt.no wrote:As you know, Bodø/Glimt have signed several new players for the 2007 season. One of them is Thiago Martins. We wanted to know what Erik Hoftun thinks about the Brazilian: -Thiago posesses qualities that will definitely be useful to us. He shows us all the time that he is a good player, but it'll probably take a month for him to get in physical shape. He also needs time to get to know how we want to play, Hoftun says.

Our sporting director Erik Hoftun said this to Bodø/Glimt's official website after Martins' first week of training:
-Thiago has qualities that definitely will be useful for us. He constantly proves that he's a good footballer, but he probably will need a month to reach top physical form. He also needs time to get used to the style of football we wish to play.

On some occations games are shown on web-TV, but not for free, and I'm not sure if it is possible to watch them abroad. On rare occations, games are shown on national TV. Last season, away games were covered on a local radio station which provides web radio, and we're hoping that will be the case this season as well. However, this is in Norwegian.

Why shouldn't it? There is no such thing as national borders on the web, is it?Kesseboy wrote:On some occations games are shown on web-TV, but not for free, and I'm not sure if it is possible to watch them abroad.

Yes and no. There is in principle no such thing as borders on the web, however there may be bandwith limitations to ranges of IP adresses (for instance, the transfer rate from the TV2 web-tv to my university is sub-standard), and also there may be limitations with regard to means of payment.

It´s also a season ticket. But I don´t now the cost for this season.
They don´t show all the matches to Bodø/Glimt, but some of them, so I prefer to buy for the matches I wanna see.
